High Point Treatment Center and Psychiatric Solutions Announce Expansion of Residential ProgrammingCOOPER CITY, Fla. – (June 3, 2010) – High Point Treatment Center, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, recently held an open house to celebrate the expansion of its residential programs. High Point expanded its residential treatment program by an additional 24 beds. The facility previously had 26 beds available for alcohol and drug detoxification and inpatient treatment. The partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs also were expanded to give patients the opportunity to live on the campus during treatment. The expansion involved significant building renovations, including residential and therapy room remodeling, new flooring, modernized bathrooms, state-of-the-art equipment, new furniture and energy-saving electrical installations. “We are happy to provide a center of excellence that meets all substance abuse treatment needs by covering all levels of care from detoxification to aftercare,” said High Point Treatment Center and Fort Lauderdale Hospital CEO Manny Llano. “We saw an increased need for chemical dependency services in our community and wanted to take the necessary steps to help people recover from addiction and rebuild their lives.” High Point has provided alcohol and drug detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services to the community for more than 25 years. The facility prides itself on providing outstanding patient care in a safe environment. The expansion celebration attracted approximately 100 local business and community leaders, including Llano, PSI Divisional President Roz Hudson, PSI Vice President of Clinical Operations Pat Grunewald and Atlantic Shores Hospital CEO Michael McDonald, among others.
